Ready to use Polyurethane Resin will quickly and effectively bond rubber chippings together offering safe resin-bound surface when applied to an appropriate sub-base.
1litre of resin will be mixed with 10 kg of rubber to offer a strong soft long-lasting bound system.
(Use 20 kg of rubber chippings and 2 litres of resin for 1 metre square at a depth of 50 mm )
Blend the rubber chippings together with resin in your mixer (standard cement mixer), then mix thoroughly until covered evenly.
Make a pit or frame to the required size. Ideally spread a permeable underlay ( not included) within this area to discourage any earth, weed or grass growing through.
Now spread the coated rubber over your prepared sub-base, trowel out to a thickness of 50 mm.
This resin will be touch dry in 4-6 hours and serviceable after 24 hours, ideally leave for 36 hours. Please note all polyurethane resins SHOULD NOT be exposed to wet conditions until at least 4-6 hours.
